Identify the concern before choosing treatment
Visible vessels can occur alone or alongside rosacea-like redness, sun damage, irritation or other skin conditions. Diffuse redness and a distinct vessel are not the same treatment target.
A doctor-led consultation reviews the appearance, history, previous treatment, skin type and relevant medical factors. The purpose is to select a suitable mechanism, not to force every concern into the same device or injectable.

Safety, limitations and realistic expectations
Possible effects include redness, swelling, bruising, blistering, pigment change, incomplete response, recurrence and scarring. Eye protection and appropriate device selection are essential.
Results vary. No treatment is also a valid option. The doctor may recommend observation, staged treatment, a test area or referral when that is safer.

Are broken capillaries permanent?
Some visible vessels persist, while others fluctuate. Treated vessels may improve, but new vessels can develop.
Is facial redness always caused by broken capillaries?
No. Diffuse redness can have several causes and should be assessed separately.
Can Pico laser treat facial veins?
Pico lasers mainly target pigment. The appropriate vascular or laser technology depends on the vessel and device available.
How should Singapore patients plan aftercare?
Avoid scheduling intensive heat, sun exposure or rushed border travel immediately after a procedure if redness or swelling is expected.
Start with a doctor-led assessment
Tell the clinic which concern you want assessed, which location you prefer and whether you are travelling from Singapore. Bring details of previous procedures, products, medicines and relevant medical history.
