Consultation01
Begin with what has changed
Describe what you notice, when it began and why it matters now. A treatment name can be part of the question, but it should not replace a description of the concern.
Bring relevant medicine, skincare and previous-procedure details. Photographs may help explain change over time, but they cannot establish a diagnosis or suitability.
- Your main concern and priority
- Previous treatment and current products
- Relevant health information
- Timing, travel and follow-up constraints
Consultation02
Define the clinical question
The clinician may assess anatomy, skin or tissue behaviour, health history and expectations. Similar-looking concerns can involve different targets, so the first requested treatment may not be the most relevant option.
A responsible discussion includes reasonable alternatives, uncertainty and the option not to proceed.
- What is the likely treatment target?
- Which exact product, device or procedure is being considered?
- What could make it unsuitable?
- How will response be reviewed?
Consultation03
Leave with a plan you can explain
Before proceeding, understand the exact treatment identity, area, intended role, limitations, likely temporary effects, preparation, aftercare and review route.
Consent follows the confirmed clinical plan. It is separate from a website privacy notice or appointment request.
- Plan and alternatives
- Preparation and aftercare
- Warning signs and contact route
- Review timing
