LENISNA is an injectable product developed by VAIM Co., Ltd. combining 170 mg of Poly-D,L-Lactic Acid (PDLLA) and 30 mg of non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA). It is positioned as a volume-focused biostimulator.

01 / How it works
LENISNA is positioned as a hybrid biostimulator. It contains porous microspheres of PDLLA a biodegradable synthetic polymer suspended in a non-crosslinked HA carrier. Following injection, the HA component may provide early temporary hydration and fullness. Over time, the PDLLA particles create a controlled inflammatory tissue response intended to support fibroblast activity and gradual collagen-related tissue remodelling.

Who may benefit
Anatomical Assessment: We assess your facial skeletal structure, fat compartments, skin laxity, and muscle activity. Volume loss in areas like the cheeks, temples (an anatomically advanced vascular area), and selected nasolabial folds or marionette areas often requires careful planning. We also assess selected atrophic acne scars, distinguishing between rolling, boxcar, or tethered scars which may require different interventions.
LENISNA is intended for selected adults with realistic expectations. We do not market this treatment to minors, nor do we perform it for creating a guaranteed V-shaped face, copying social media trends, or replacing a surgical facelift. Patients with active infections, unresolved nodules from previous injectables, autoimmune conditions, or those who are pregnant must delay treatment.

Yes. Medi Clinic actively serves visitors travelling via the Causeway and Tuas Second Link for doctor-led assessments. We strongly encourage you to bring your previous injectable records and disclose any prior biostimulators or hyaluronidase treatments.
Exact-Product Verification: We must confirm current LENISNA or JUVELOOK Volume availability by verifying genuine sealed packaging, lot numbers, and exact Malaysia Medical Device Register (MDA) status from an authorised supplier. Overseas CE or Korean registrations do not automatically guarantee local intended-purpose approvals.
Treatment is never guaranteed on the same day. We do not sell fixed “vial packages” because session counts depend entirely on individual anatomical needs and tissue response. Our patients from Johor Bahru, Eko Galleria, and Singapore appreciate that we set realistic goals, explaining that LENISNA may support gradual facial-volume improvement, but permanent collagen or fat restoration cannot be guaranteed.
All facial injectables carry medical risks. Common temporary reactions include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, and firmness at the injection site. More importantly, because LENISNA contains PDLLA particles, delayed inflammatory reactions such as persistent nodules or granulomas can occur weeks or months later. A published case report has also documented a nodular reaction following JUVELOOK Volume use in the delicate tear-trough area, demonstrating that under-eye treatment is not risk-free.

No. Standard JUVELOOK is a lower-content formulation containing 42.5 mg PDLLA and 7.5 mg HA, generally used for superficial skin concerns. They do not share the same treatment areas, protocols, or evidence.
According to current VAIM information, LENISNA and JUVELOOK Volume are two names for the same 170 mg PDLLA formulation used in different markets. However, the exact Malaysian registration must always be verified before treatment.
No. Sculptra contains PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) and AestheFill is a separate PDLLA product from a different manufacturer. Each product has unique particle characteristics, clinical evidence, and preparation methods.
No. While the enzyme hyaluronidase can affect the non-crosslinked HA carrier, it does not dissolve the PDLLA particles. A complete return to your original appearance cannot be guaranteed, making precise doctor placement essential.
