01 / How it works
Nexfill (including Fine, Deep, and Volume) uses a proprietary High Density Tapping Technology to create a relatively uniform, monophasic HA gel. While all three variants share the same 24 mg/mL HA concentration, their rheological properties are designed differently. Nexfill Fine is positioned for softer concerns like superficial lines; Deep is intended for moderate folds (such as nasolabial folds or marionette lines); and Volume provides stronger structural support for cheeks, chin, or jawline contours.
It is critical to understand that “monophasic” does not mean the filler is immune to lump formation or completely risk-free. While the manufacturer markets a “60% less BDDE” crosslinker formulation, this does not eliminate the risks of swelling, inflammation, or vascular occlusion. Because the face contains important structures like the facial artery, deep anatomical knowledge is required. Our doctor plans these treatments conservatively for patients from Taman Pelangi, Mount Austin, and across Singapore, ensuring a safe approach that prioritises tissue balance over unnecessary width or volume.

Who may benefit
Not every fold or line needs filler. A comprehensive doctor’s assessment is mandatory.
Facial Assessment: We evaluate your facial proportions to distinguish between dynamic wrinkles (caused by muscle movement), skeletal retrusion, skin laxity, and actual volume loss. If your concern stems from heavy lower-face tissue or severe laxity, adding filler volume may worsen the appearance. We also determine whether Fine, Deep, or Volume is the appropriate consistency for your tissue depth.

If a doctor determines Nexfill is medically suitable, the process focuses heavily on product verification. We openly document the batch number, exact MDA registration, and valid expiry date. The 0.3% lidocaine in the formulation helps with comfort, though temporary pinching or pressure may still be felt.
Conservative Volume Planning: There is no universal syringe package. While Nexfill syringes are presented in 1 mL, your volume depends on your anatomy and specific goals. Conservative, staged treatment is often preferable to avoid facial heaviness.
While volume change is visible immediately, early swelling can exaggerate the result. Tissue integration takes time, and the final contour should be judged after swelling settles. Distributors advertise durations of approximately nine to 18 months depending on the variant, but duration varies greatly depending on metabolism, area, and amount. Results are strictly temporary. For our patients travelling from Singapore or local areas like Medini, we maintain equal consultation standards and focus on safe, steady enhancement.

Fine is positioned for softer or more superficial correction, Deep for selected folds and moderate volume, and Volume for stronger contour support. All three are publicly listed at 24 mg/mL HA, so the difference is not simply the HA concentration.

06 / Before you decide
Safe treatment relies on realistic expectations. Common, temporary side effects include injection-site tenderness, swelling, lumps, firmness, pain, bruising, and redness. Delayed inflammatory reactions (swelling or nodules) may occasionally occur weeks or months later, sometimes following viral illness, vaccination, or dental work.
Important Vascular Warning: Unintentional injection of filler into a blood vessel is a rare but severe medical emergency. It can cause vascular occlusion, tissue necrosis, or in extremely rare cases, visual impairment, blindness, or stroke. Urgent symptoms include severe or worsening pain, skin blanching (pale, grey, or mottled skin), unusually cold skin, or visual disturbances. These require immediate medical assessment, not waiting for a routine review.
While hyaluronidase is a prescription medicine that can dissolve HA filler in selected situations, it carries its own allergy risks and does not guarantee complete reversal. We provide strict aftercare instructions, advising patients to avoid strenuous exercise, excess heat, and massaging the area.

Public product information lists 24 mg/mL crosslinked HA and 0.3% lidocaine in a 1 mL prefilled syringe. Medi Clinic should verify the exact Malaysian product label and Instructions for Use before treatment.
Nexus Pharma presents Nexfill as part of its Korean filler range, while some distributors identify S.THEPHARM as the manufacturer. The exact legal manufacturer should be confirmed from the Malaysian packaging and MDA registration.
An exact current public Nexfill entry was not independently confirmed during this research. Medi Clinic should verify the product’s registration number, authorised representative, legal manufacturer, device identifier and validity before treatment.

No. Nexfill is a biodegradable HA filler. Visible correction gradually reduces as the gel is broken down. The duration varies according to the variant, area, amount and individual response.
