While NEWGyn aims to support tissue hydration and suppleness, temporary injection reactions are common. You may experience localized stinging, tenderness, redness, swelling, bruising, or temporary spotting. Because the verified formulation does not list lidocaine, the doctor may discuss separate comfort measures prior to treatment. Less common but important risks include infection, allergic reaction, or persistent nodules. If you experience heavy bleeding, fever, foul-smelling discharge, or severe pelvic pain after treatment, you must seek prompt medical care, as these are not routine side effects.

What is NEWGyn?
NEWGyn is an Italian Class III medical device containing highly purified polynucleotides, noncrosslinked HA and mannitol. It is intended for selected adult vulvar and vaginal tissue concerns after medical assessment.
Is NEWGyn the same as Plinest?
No. NEWGyn and PLINEST are separate Mastelli products within the PN-HPT portfolio. NEWGyn is specifically developed for the vulvovaginal area and has a different formulation and intended purpose.
What does NEWGyn contain?
It contains 10 mg/mL PN-HPT, 10 mg/mL noncrosslinked HA and 220 micromoles/mL mannitol in a single-use 2 mL prefilled syringe.
Does NEWGyn contain hormones?
No estrogen, progesterone or another sex hormone is listed in the formulation. However, being non-hormonal does not mean it is automatically suitable during pregnancy, breastfeeding or cancer treatment.
Is NEWGyn registered in Malaysia?
Yes. Malaysia’s Medical Device Register lists NEWGyn under Ardence Pharma Sdn Bhd with registration number GD9561023-122430, valid from 28 February 2023 to 27 February 2028. Current status should still be checked.
Can NEWGyn help menopausal vaginal dryness?
A small uncontrolled study reported improvement in selected vulvar, vaginal and sexual-function measures in postmenopausal women. Results vary, and infection or another medical cause must first be excluded.
