A local contour concern, a change in weight and a health-related weight problem call for different conversations. Non-invasive body contouring does not replace weight management. Describe the area you want to discuss and whether your priority is clothing fit, a local shape concern or broader health, so the assessment starts with the right goal.
BMI is a screening measure based on height and weight. It does not distinguish fat from muscle or describe every aspect of health. Bring your weight history, current medicines and relevant health information to a weight-management consultation. Ask how eating patterns, activity, sleep and any proposed medical care fit into a sustainable plan.
If medicines are discussed, confirm suitability, monitoring and what to do if side effects occur. Product names or a refill enquiry do not establish a prescription. Singapore visitors should discuss continuity and review arrangements before travelling. For contour procedures, ask which area is being treated, what change is realistic and what recovery may involve.
