Notice whether a line appears when you smile or frown, remains when your face is relaxed, or sits beside a change in facial volume. These observations describe different aspects of ageing and expression. They do not choose a treatment on their own, but they give the doctor a clearer starting point than a request for a particular brand.
Botulinum toxin changes selected muscle activity; dermal fillers are used for selected volume or contour goals. Skin-focused and energy-based treatments have different roles again. These categories are not interchangeable. Discuss the intended area, product identity, likely duration, limitations and risks before comparing costs or deciding whether any procedure is worthwhile.
